Potato Casserole

may use regular potatoes or instant

Ingredients

8 to 10 med. potatoes, peeled

1  8oz. cream cheese

1 small carton sour cream

1 tsp. garlic salt

1/4 tsp. chopped chives or grated onion or 1 tsp. onin salt

 

Directions

Whip cheese and sour cream until smooth.  Add salt and chive or onions. Add cooked potstoes one at a time and beat after. each addition until smooth. 

It may be necessary to add a little cream or milk. 

Put in casserole and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

May be made the day before an refridgerated but will need to cook at little longer if put in oven cold.

serves 6 to 8
