Fudge Sundae Pie

Ingredients

1 cup evaporated milk

6 oz. pkg chocolate chips

1 cup miniature marasmallows

1/4 tsp salt

vanilla wafers

1 qt. vanilla ice cream  {1/2 gallon makes 2 pies}

chopped pecans

Directions

Put milk, chocolate chips, marshmallows and salt in heavy sauce.pan.  Stir over medium heat until completely melted and mixture thickens.  Take off heat and cool to room temperature.

Line bottom and sides of 9" pie pan with vanilla wafers.  

Spoon half the ice cream over the wafers then half the sauce then repeat.

Place chopped pecans over top.  Freeze until firm.  3 to 5 hrs.

Very rich.  Serves 8 to 10
