Pecan Pie

Betty Crocker recipe

Ingredients

Pastry for 9" pie crust

3 eggs

2/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/3 cup butter, melted

1 cup dark or light corn syrup 

1 cup pecan halves

Pie crust pastry:

1 cup flour

1/3 cup plus 1 Tbl Crisco shortening

dash salt

2-3 Tbl cold water

 

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 375.  Prepare pastry.  Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter and corn syrup with a rotary beater. Stir in nuts.

Pour into pastry and bake for 40-50 minutes until filling is set.
