Cheesy Vegetable chowder

Ingredients

10 slices chopped bacon

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped carrots

2 cups water

21/2 cups diced potatoes

2 chicken boullion cubes

3 cups milk

1 17oz. can whole kernel corn - drained

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

3 T flour

pepper to taste

Directions

Brown bacon, reserve drippings.  Saute onion in same pan.  Add bacon, carrots, water, boullion and potatoes.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until tender.  Stir in milk and corn, heat throughly.

Combine cheese with flour and toss.  Add to soup and stir until cheese melts.  Season to taste.
